Why WithSakina Exists

WithSakina grew from a personal desire to find a more honest and meaningful way forward in life, guided by the teachings of Islam.

Over time, I became interested in a question: How can we approach the difficulties of everyday life with greater trust in Allah, without adding unnecessary pressure to what we are already carrying?

Through personal experiences and conversations with people facing their own challenges, I began to see how much our understanding of a problem can shape the way we respond to it.

The Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ offer guidance for the difficulties we face, the decisions we make, and the way we turn to Allah in times of uncertainty.

I wanted to create a space where we could explore that guidance thoughtfully and connect it to real life.

That is why WithSakina was created.

Bringing Islamic Guidance into Everyday Life

Sometimes, we know what we should do, yet still struggle to take the next step.

Worry can make decisions difficult. Repeated delays can lead to self-blame. Uncertainty can leave us wondering what to do and how much we should rely on Allah.

In these moments, we may need more than a short reminder. We may need time to understand the guidance, reflect on what it means for our situation, and consider how to move forward.

WithSakina offers focused video courses that explore these kinds of everyday struggles through an Islamic perspective.

The aim is not to offer quick fixes or promise that every difficulty will disappear. It is to help you understand the guidance more deeply and approach your circumstances with greater clarity, trust in Allah, and a thoughtful sense of responsibility.

The Meaning Behind WithSakina

Sakina (سَكِينَة) is an Arabic word associated with tranquility and inner calm. In the Qur’an, Allah speaks of sending Sakina into the hearts of believers.

It reminds us that calmness is not simply about having a life in which nothing goes wrong. Our relationship with Allah remains important even when circumstances are uncertain or difficult.

The name WithSakina expresses the intention behind this project: to create a place where Islamic guidance can be explored with care, where difficult questions can be approached thoughtfully, and where learning does not become another source of unnecessary pressure.

How We Approach Learning

Grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah

Our lessons draw upon the Qur’an and authentic teachings of the Prophet ﷺ. We aim to explain their relevance to everyday life with care and clarity, without presenting personal reflections as religious rulings.

Connected to real-life struggles

We explore topics such as trust in Allah, worry, procrastination, and the difficulties of making decisions. Each course focuses on a particular subject and helps you reflect on how Islamic guidance relates to it.

Designed for thoughtful reflection

Our lessons are focused and available to revisit, allowing you to learn at your own pace. You do not need to rush through them or remember every word. You can return to an idea when you need to think about it again.

A gentle approach, without unnecessary pressure

Life already places many demands on our time and attention. We want learning here to be purposeful and manageable, leaving room for reflection rather than encouraging you to measure your progress by how quickly you finish.

A Note Before You Begin

You may be here because something in your life feels difficult, because you are trying to change a habit, or because you want to understand how to place greater trust in Allah.

Whatever brought you here, you can begin with the subject that feels most relevant to you.

Take your time. Reflect on what you learn. Apply what is appropriate to your circumstances, and seek qualified guidance when you have questions that require religious expertise.

You do not need to understand everything at once.

Begin where you are, and take the next step with Allah’s guidance.

May Allah grant us ease.
