A quieter way to approach life's difficulties
Explore life’s difficulties through the guidance of the Qur’an and authentic teachings of Islam. Learn to approach worry, trust, and everyday struggles with greater understanding and a calmer way forward.
When life feels difficult, understanding matters
Sometimes, the hardest part of a problem is everything we carry while trying to solve it.
The worry that keeps returning. The pressure to get things right. The frustration of trying to change a habit. The uncertainty of not knowing what will happen next.
Islam offers guidance for the way we understand our lives, turn to Allah, and respond to the difficulties we face.
WithSakina was created to explore that guidance, one real-life struggle at a time.
Find a course for what you’re facing
Each course explores a particular struggle through an Islamic perspective, with focused lessons you can revisit at your own pace.
The Foundation of Trust
For moments of uncertainty, worry, and difficulty
Explore what it means to turn to Allah, understand His response, and approach life’s difficulties with a deeper understanding of trust.
Procrastination Without Self-Hatred
For moments when you feel stuck and frustrated with yourself.
Understand procrastination without making self-blame the starting point, and explore a gentler approach to effort, responsibility, and change.
More than a reminder — a space to understand
Short reminders can inspire us. But sometimes we need time to explore an idea, understand its meaning, and consider how it relates to our own circumstances.
WithSakina brings Islamic guidance into focused lessons about real-life struggles.
- Grounded in Islam: Lessons draw on the Qur’an and authentic teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, with care taken to distinguish religious sources from personal reflections.
- Connected to real life: Explore how Islamic guidance relates to worry, decisions, procrastination, trust in Allah, and other everyday difficulties.
- Designed for reflection: Follow focused video lessons at your own pace and return to them when you want to revisit an idea.
Why WithSakina Exists
A personal intention, shared through learning
WithSakina grew from a desire to understand how Islamic guidance can help us approach life’s difficulties.
Through personal experiences and conversations with people facing their own challenges, I became interested in how trust in Allah can shape the way we understand our problems and respond to them.
This project brings those reflections into thoughtfully prepared lessons, grounded in the Qur’an and authentic teachings of Islam.
